Dirty Laundry
Home Again, Home Again…
So, Book Expo has come and gone. Had a fantastic time getting to know all the amazing people at Candlewick Press (I’m not kidding. They are the best!). So grateful that I was invited. I’m not sure what was more fun. The book signings or the “speed dating” or the dinners. I am extremely happy to be home (although, it’s sweltering here in Vancouver these days and my wife has just left town for ten days) but I must say that I was sad to say goodbye to all the incredible people I met who have become instant friends.
Now it’s back to work. Screenplay followed by rewrites on the new book.
Oh, and the Penguins just won game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, so there’s still some hope that they might pull this out.
I’m pretty tired, so I won’t go on too long. Just a few pictures (including my beautiful niece Meaghan with her multicolored nails, and my book in Watermark’s at the Toronto Airport - this made me very happy, don’t ask me why, and then me at Chapters in West Vancouver - my books found “in the wild”)
